Love this place we sure do! As a council, we Love This Place and that means protecting our environment and ensuring the wellbeing of our people. So when we talk Long Term Plan (LTP) think of it as Love This Place!

We know financial responsibilities and keeping the family safe are key to a happy home, likewise, we’ve got some important decisions to make regarding spending on some big ticket items that will provide safety and security to our communities in the long run – things like earthquake strengthening the Waihī Museum and raising the height of some of our stop banks on the Hauraki Plains for flood protection. While these are the two main items we’re seeking feedback on, you are welcome to give us your feedback on any aspect of this Plan.
