Get the updates for the repairs to Golden Valley Road right here.
Heavy rain and wind caused major damage to Golden Valley Road in May 2023 which has led to the road remaining closed.
There is a total of three slips which have made the road impassable for both pedestrians and vehicles at the Landlyst Road end (between RP 0.770 and RP 1.220).
Fortunately, there is still access to properties for local residents.
Our next step is engaging a contractor to start repairs.
