Visitors to Morgan Park will soon benefit from improved facilities, with the installation of a new public toilet near to the recently opened pump track.
This is a joint project between Council and external funding providers.
What’s Happening?
Starting late October 2025, work will begin in the road corridor near Morgan Park to run the mains water supply to the toilet block site.
A shoulder closure on Kenny Street will be in place.
Contractors will be on site Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm.
Pedestrian access will remain open. For your safety, please follow the signs and stay outside of the safety fencing.
A small section of Morgan Park will be closed during the works, but the pump track, playground, courts and main field will stay open.
The toilet itself is due to arrive in early November, with finishing touches such as concreting and landscaping to follow. The project should be completed by December 2025, weather permitting.
This new facility will make it even easier for everyone to enjoy what Morgan Park has to offer.
