Biodiversity Strategy

To actively restore the mana of the environment within Hauraki.
At the April 2025 meeting of Council, the Biodiversity Strategy was adopted. You can read the strategy and the accompanying Action Plans document on Council's main website here: Biodiversity Strategy - Hauraki District Council .
The strategy outlines how we will enhance and protect biodiversity in the Hauraki District, and the Action Plans detail more specifically where and when we'll carry out our actions. Thank you to all those who contributed during the drafting phases of the strategy.
