Works Update - May 2025

As we move into May, we’re pleased to let you know that the roading project is entering its final stages.

Our contractor has completed excavation and backfilling on both sides of Hauraki Road and is now stabilising both lanes in preparation for sealing.

In mid-May, our contractor will carry out sealing of the road, after which it will reopen to all traffic.

Following the sealing, our contractor will focus on completing driveway connections, site clean-up, and reinstatement. This final work takes place within the berm areas so no further road closures will take place.

Please note some works are weather dependent. We will keep you updated as works progress.
