We’re pleased to announce that a 1.5km section of Trig Road North will soon be upgraded to improve safety and accessibility for all road users. The road will be widened from 4.8 metres to 6 metres, creating a safer and more user-friendly route.
This is the first stage of a wider improvement programme for Trig Road North. The design for the second section of the road is already underway, with construction expected at a later stage.
The process of appointing a contractor is currently in progress. Once confirmed, the contractor will finalise the necessary documentation, traffic management plans, and scheduling to ensure work can begin smoothly. Access for residents will be maintained throughout the upgrade.
Culvert Upgrade
The road upgrade will also connect with a separate project to replace a major culvert on Trig Road North, scheduled to begin around October 2025.
What's next?
We’ll continue to provide updates as the work moves forward, including details on traffic management and any expected impacts for road users. You can also check out our Antenno app and sign-up to stay informed.
If you have any further concerns or questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
