Culvert replacement update - late November
Work to replace the old culvert on Trig Road North is well underway. The team is currently busy diverting the stream and constructing its replacement.
Preparations for the new precast concrete culvert - late November 2025Where are we at?
Recent severe weather events have slowed our programme slightly, but the crew is working hard to keep us on track. Our goal remains to reopen Trig Road North by 12 December 2025, and we are doing everything we can to meet that date.
In the meantime, the full 24-hour road closure remains in place. Please continue to use the detour via Golden Valley Road and plan your journey accordingly. Drive carefully near the work site and check here for further updates.
We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we complete these essential works to improve local infrastructure.

Speed limits: When the road is open, there will be a temporary 30 km/h speed limit. Some parts may be bumpy or unsealed while under construction, so please drive carefully.
